Title IX Disclosure Statement

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (“Title IX”), 20 U.S.C. §1681 et seq., is a Federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. All public and private elementary and secondary schools, school districts, colleges, and universities (hereinafter “schools”) receiving any Federal funds must comply with Title IX. Under Title IX, discrimination on the basis of sex can include sexual harassment or sexual violence, such as rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, and sexual coercion.

Installer Institute is committed to fostering an atmosphere free from sexual harassment, sexual violence, gender-based harassment, and other prohibited conduct and creating an inclusive campus for all members of the institution’s community regardless of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Installer Institute, Title IX, and applicable provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex in any education or activity Installer Institute operates. Sexual and gender-based harassment and interpersonal violence are destructive to such a climate and will not be tolerated.

This policy against discrimination extends to student admissions and employment. Installer Institute also prohibits retaliation against an individual who reports, submits a complaint, or who otherwise participates in good faith in any matter related to the Policy. Any inquiries about the application of Title IX rules may be addressed to the Title IX Coordinators identified below or the U.S. Department of Education’s Assistant Secretary of the Office of Civil Rights, or both.
