I've always been a huge SPL fan and the motto usually is "the uglier it is, the louder it is." I primarily went to II to get more hands on training on alarm installation and welding but I also learned first hand how to design and construct a classy install. Learning from professional instructors who have been in the industry for decades is a real asset for anyone who wants to further their knowledge in the industry or anything audio related. I took home skills and techniques that I wouldn't have received anywhere else. Going to II not only increased my abilities as an installer but I had a blast doing it. I didn't even want to go home. It's like a vacation for car audio enthusiasts.
"The experience at II is one of a kind! Its amazing how much you can learn in a short time, If your passion is mobile electronics then II is the place for you, I just wished I could have stayed longer."
We asked Zach to describe the experience he had at the Installer Institute.
"It was a wonderful experience and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to come to this school. The instructors are A+ and full of knowledge. Thank you to everyone! The knowledge shared was much appreciated."
The return on our investment with Installer Institute began paying off within the first month that Michael returned home. Michael successfully gained employment by a “Premier” local Car Audio & Electronics Company that has been in business since 1958.
As a parent it is always difficult to see your child graduate high school and move onto their next stage of life—as it was for us as well. From the first conversation that I had with the Installer Institute staff it was made well known that they were there to assist in any way possible to make Michael’s dream a reality—and they did just that.
“The training I received from I.I. was second to none and has greatly increased my knowledge of mobile electronics. I know I still have a lot to learn, but once again thanks for all that you have done. The best acknowledgement and gratitude that I can give to the staff at I.I., as well as myself is the last “show” vehicle that I built. Here’s the skinny, 2005 Grand Prix, the only work that I didn’t do for this show (yes, that means that I’m tearing it back down for next year, along with another vehicle from the same customer; paint, electronics, lift, etc) was the paint, and wheels.
