Advanced Car Audio Installations Program

Advanced Fabrications is truly a unique experience. This class is one week of hands-on projects. During this segment, students will learn proper shop safety and etiquette. They will use and become familiar with many of the same tools found in high-end custom shops around the world. Over the next three weeks, our students will understand the many uses of materials such as wood, metal, fiberglass, resins and body fillers. These materials are incorporated into the training of techniques used to fabricate custom door panels, kick panels, dashboards, consoles, amp racks and speaker enclosures. Students will learn the techniques of cutting and polishing Plexiglas, and will learn the advantages of ABS, laminates, and many other materials. They will also learn how to incorporate raised lettering, logos, vinyl wrapping and much more!
Finally, students will learn how to use their own imagination to apply finishing touches that make a custom installation truly stand out. Students are encouraged to keep assigned projects for future presentation as an addition to their portfolios.
