Basic Car Audio Installations Program

During Advanced Mobile Security and Navigation students will learn how to install a reliable security system that includes advanced technologies and convenience features. They will learn how to use resistors, relays, diodes, switches and many of the interfaces and bypasses necessary in current and future vehicles. All students will be required to take part in the actual installation of an automobile security system. Students are given the opportunity to obtain the most advanced security products on the market and install them in their own vehicles.
During navigation training, students will be taught the uses, installation and operation of a GPS navigation system. We will cover the placement and system integration of these units, as well as the proper location of accompanying video monitors and media devices. Mobile video is a very important and profitable part of today’s install bay. Students will learn how to properly mount and route wires to the aftermarket video screen, and also how to troubleshoot video noise, and will be informed about state laws regarding video.
