Introduction to Formal Installations is a class the helps students understand the relationships between the different properties of electricity, their laws and how it all applies to car audio. This week is spent entirely in the classroom preparing students for MESA’s Installation Knowledge exam. Students will prepare for this exam by learning about basic electrical knowledge and accepted 12 volt installation practices. The Introduction to formal installations class provides a solid foundation of the principles, techniques, and safety needed for advancement into our other courses.
The Installation knowledge exam consists of 200 questions. Each student is allotted 3 hours to complete the multiple choice test. Students must pass this exam with a 70% or better in all five sections.
